In the compound thin film solar cells, the band discontinuity at the interface between the buffer layer and the absorption layer is known to affect the conversion efficiency. Until now, we reported the composition control of the CdZnS buffer layer by the open-air CVD method. In this method, it is possible to control the composition ratio of Cd and Zn by changing the raw material ratio. In this work, we investigated the optical properties of CdZnS film with various ratio of CdS source R by photoluminescence (PL) measurement.
