Large Language Models (LLMs) are neural networks trained on massive datasets, but general-purpose LLMs require prompt engineering to extract domain-specific knowledge. In this study, we propose a method utilizing a local LLM to extract information about growth layer structures described in academic papers, focusing on specialized fields such as semiconductors and materials science.
