We have investigated with a method to fabricate graphene nanoribbons (GNR) by polymerizing pentacene (Pn). In this experiment, to promote Pn polymerization, we additionally supplied atomic hydrogen at a different point from the Pn supply point during the deposition. The additional supply of atomic hydrogen caused hydrogenation of Pn even at low WP temperatures (1200-1400℃). It was suggested that the hydrogenation of Pn and the formation of Pn precursors were affected by the supply of atomic hydrogen from a different point than the raw materials (Pn) supply point.
