Dynamic terahertz metamaterials,Chimera quasiparticle science

Dynamic metamaterials, which can alter their structure in response to external stimuli, are important for sensing and communication technologies, particularly in the terahertz frequency range. Additionally, their spatiotemporal structures generate coupling between quasiparticles through their unique artificial scale. Thus, they can be considered reactors for quasiparticle reactions and are expected to advance chimera quasiparticle science. In this talk, we will introduce current research trends in dynamic terahertz metamaterials, focusing on two paradigms: deterministic design theory and time-varying phenomena.
