Tin (Sn) has attracted attention as an alternative element to lead in perovskites because of its similar valence electron configuration and ionic radius to lead. In this study, bulk crystals of CsSnBr3 were coated and deposited from precursor solutions and applied to LED devices. The obtained thin films showed deep red luminescence visible at the visual level and were successfully driven as LEDs. However, current leakage due to low coverage of the crystals became an issue, so we attempted to form large grain size and dense films by controlling the composition.
