Vapor-Liquid-Solid（VLS）成長法で作製されたYBCOの表面には液相残渣由来の特徴的な析出物が存在する。ターゲット組成と成膜温度を変更したYBCO薄膜の表面をSEMで観察し、析出物の大きさ、密度、形状から結晶成長機構をVLS成長と単純な気相成長に分類する。さらに、Phase Diagram Construction(PDC)アルゴリズムを用いて成長相分類図を作成し、VLS成長となる条件について議論する。
