Cd-based quantum dots (QDs) exhibit high photoluminescence (PL) efficiency, but their use is increasingly restricted due to concerns about toxicity and environmental impact. As an alternative material, InP-based QDs are gaining attention for their lower toxicity and reduced environmental impact. In this study, InP QDs coated with shell layers of ZnSe and ZnS were fabricated [1]. In addition, electrostatic spraying deposition (ESD) method - a low-cost method capable of forming uniform thin films - was used to produce InP QD thin films and their PL properties were evaluated.
