All-solid-state lithium-ion batteries have been attracting attention in recent years with the spread of electric vehicles, and the creation of new solid-state electrolytes is indispensable to improve their performance. As a candidate, NASICON-type Li1.5Al0.5Ge1.5(PO4)3 materials have attracted much attention1. Against this background, we synthesized Li1.5Al0.5Ge1.5-xMx(PO4)3 (M=Mn, V, Mo, Ni) and investigated the composition dependence of its electrical conductivity properties. The correlation between composition and average, electronic, and local structure and conductivity was discussed based on Rietveld analysis using neutron and synchrotron X-ray diffraction and PDF analysis using synchrotron total scattering data.
