Because Mg is abundant in the earth's crust, is stable in air, and exhibits high energy density due to the divalent cation, it is expected to be used in high-performance next-generation secondary batteries. However,cathode materials for magnesium-based rechargeable batteries (MRBs) have not shown sufficient performance, and a search for new cathode materials is needed. In this study, MgMn2-xFexO4 (x=0~2) was synthesized and its cathode properties were investigated.
