We have proposed an optical sensor based on wavelength swept optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT) as a distance measurement method. Using a wavelength swept light source, the distance is measured by receiving light with a beat frequency proportional to the distance to the object, and using the spectrum obtained by Fourier transform. In order to improve the depth resolution, which is defined as the full width at half maximum of the reflection peak, by signal processing, a filter in the spectrum acquisition stage is investigated. The effectiveness of the Wiener filter is experimentally confirmed.
