In thermal neutron irradiation of CLLB(Ce) scintillation detectors, several nuclides are produced by activation reactions. In this study, we evaluated the thermal neutron flux measurement by the activation method using 134mCs and 80mBr produced by the activation reaction. The thermal neutron flux was measured after 2 hours of neutron irradiation using a neutron source (Pu-Be) owned by Kindai University. The experimental results were consistent with those measured with gold foil in the past, indicating that the CLLB(Ce) scintillation detector is effective for thermal neutron flux measurement by the activation method.
