Superconducting circuits are based on low-loss superconducting thin films and the tunneling effect in Josephson junctions. High performance superconducting circuits can be applied not only to superconducting qubits but also to various quantum technologies using low-loss superconducting resonators. In this talk, I will discuss the performance enhancement of superconducting qubits and superconducting resonators and their application to the ion trap quantum technology.
