Quantum dots have garnered significant attention as novel luminescent materials due to their size-dependent photoluminescence color. In our previous research, we focused on low-toxicity group I-III-VI quantum dots and successfully improved their optical properties by precisely controlling the chemical synthesis conditions. In this presentation, we will discuss the preparation and tailorable optical properties of group I-III-VI quantum dots, particularly those containing silver (Ag) as the group I element. We will highlight the sharpening of emission peaks achieved through compositional control and explore their potential applications in LED technology.
