Lead-based and lead-free perovskite solar cells are expected as next-generation solar cells. While they can be easily fabricated by coating from solution, the properties of the active layer can change significantly due to slight changes in the material composition, process, or environmental factors during fabrication. However a complete understanding of this has not yet been achieved. In this lecture, I report on the demonstration of an automatic evaluation device using a robot that can perform high-speed, high-precision experimental screening of the photoelectric conversion performance of thin films and powder semiconductors.
