Single layer films of conductive polymers of PEDOT:PSS with octadecylamine (ODA) are fabricated by means of the Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) technique. The I-V characteristic measurements for the fabricated films show the significant electrical conductivity at the vacuum condition. It was found that the current intensity increases by increasing the coverage of particles on the mica substrate. By comparison of the simultaneous measurements for the AFM topography and the KFM images, it is clearly indicated that the electric conduction permissively takes place on the single layer of particles. The analysis for the single layer of film depending on the several kinds of coverage enables us to clarify the two-dimensional conduction mechanism.
