In this presentation, we will discuss the evaluation of the distribution of gold nanoparticles, which tend to accumulate in tumors due to the Enhanced Permeability and Retention (EPR) effect, using a photon-counting CT developed with a combination of a high-speed scintillator (YGAG:Ce) and a Silicon Photomultiplier (SiPM). The study focuses on in vivo imaging of gold nanoparticles in mice with implanted tumors.
