The optical topological insulator is expected to have applications in optical circuits due to its strong resistance to scattering and reflection, and research is being conducted to control its optical topological phase. In this study, we attempted optical topological control using Sb2Se3, a transparent phase-change material in the communication wavelength range. Focusing on valley topology to reduce radiation loss, we successfully designed a structure with minimal propagation loss and the ability to enable optical topological phase transitions.
