We have previously shown that orbital angular momentum (OAM) generation is possible by optical non-Hermitian skin effects in two-dimensional simulations in anisotropic media with balanced gains and losses. In this study, OAM generation was also successfully achieved in a medium that is easier to realize. Mainly, using a lossy anisotropic medium that does not require gain, we confirmed OAM generation in 3D structure and OAM light emission into the air, in addition to OAM generation in 2D structure, by simulation.
