LED発電の１つの応用として昼間，太陽光によりLED発電した電力をEDLCに蓄電し，夜間時にそのLEDが発光して照明等に使用できるか検討を行った．具体的には昼間，同心円状に60個並列接続した固定型赤色LED発電による電力をEDLCに蓄電し，夜間時にそのうちの15個のLEDを点灯させて，蓄電によるLEDの点灯時間やその明るさを調べたので報告する．
