The National Colleges of Technology in the Hokkaido region, including Asahikawa, Kushiro, Tomakomai, and Hakodate, have jointly launched a new elective course called 'Hokkaido Semiconductor Future Studies,' which is available to all first to third-year students at the four colleges. This course is conducted in an on-demand online format. The aim of this course is to motivate students who are interested in semiconductors by helping them understand the connection between their specialized fields and the semiconductor industry at an early stage, thereby enhancing their motivation for learning at the colleges and aiding in their future career development.
