In laser processing, there is a growing demand for accommodating increasingly complex targets and shapes while quality and throughput. Volumetric beams with three-dimensionally controlled intensity are in high demand. This study reports the reconstruction space of volumetric beam shaping using computer-generated holograms (CGH) displayed on a liquid-crystal spatial light modulator (LCSLM).
