As a method for controlling semiconductor properties, chemical doping is widely utilized. However, in organic semiconductors, the molecular shapes differ between materials, making it challenging to form substitutional solid solutions and to dope crystals. In our previous research, we conducted a high-throughput theoretical calculation to extensively search for molecules that can be doped into DNTT and identified pentacene as a candidate molecule. In this study, we fabricated DNTT:Pentacene mixed single crystals and evaluated their photoelectronic properties.
