We have developed a magneto-optical glass with a high Verdet constant, QFM-002, which has enabled the miniaturization of optical isolators. Additionally, in recent years, we have successfully developed QFM-003, a magneto-optical glass with excellent high-power resistance. While conventional single-crystal materials have difficulty accommodating large apertures, QFM-003 can be scaled up, making it suitable for large-aperture, high-power laser optical isolators.
