Keywords:
Underwater electric potential
After acoustic, optical, and magnetic detection, underwater electric fields have been studied as a technique for detecting objects in water, and sensors made of Ag/AgCl have been developed. We have been conducting research on detection using electric field sensors that use carbon, which has stable electronic reactions in water, as the sensitive part. We report on the measured electric field detection performance in freshwater and seawater.
