Hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) defect centers are candidates for high-quality single-photon sources because of their optical stability and high single-photon emission rates from single defects. In this talk, we will present our recent results, which include selective single-photon generation from specific hBN defect centers using anti-Stokes excitation and highly efficient coupling with nano-optical fibers. We will also discuss the future application of hBN defect centers to photonic quantum technology.
