Cervical intra-epithelial neoplasia which is precursor lesion of carcinoma of uterine cervix is developed from squamous intra-epithelial dysplasia at a depth of several ten layers below surface. Diagnosis of these dysplasia requires imaging systems capable of picking up the distribution of these dysplasia. In this study, we have prepared circularly polarized light (CPL) imaging system based on “CPL scattering method” we proposed, and detected buried dysplasia tissue.
