In this study, we successfully observed room-temperature phosphorescence from pyrene using lead halide perovskite nanocrystals (PNCs) as a triplet sensitizing matrix. This achievement is attributed to the efficient formation of the triplet excited state of pyrene through triplet energy transfer from the PNCs to pyrene. Since this composite structure does not require specific binding between PNCs and organic dyes, it can be applied to various phosphorescent materials.
