Polarization measurement techniques for continuous wave lasers and lamp light sources are well established, and there are many commercial products available. However, there are no commercially available polarization measurement systems for pulsed lasers, and there are few research cases on the development of such devices. Our research aims to evaluate the polarization state of pulsed lasers with a simple optical system. In this study, we tried to determine the Stokes parameters of low repetition rate pulsed lasers by using the rotating retarder method, which is widely used in commercially available polarization measurement devices.
