In this research, we developed an abnormality diagnosis system that combines vibration energy harvesting (VEH) and a battery. Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) film was used as the vibration power generation element, and the wireless device was driven intermittently by the trigger operation by VEH. Vibration experiments simulating an earthquake confirmed the effectiveness of the system, and enabled energy-saving and long-distance wireless communication.
