Thin-film memdevices and their application to neuromorphic systems will be presented. Thin-film memdevices such as multilevel and analog-type memristors, memcapacitors, and memriscapacitors have been studied by amorphous and polycrystalline metal oxide semiconductors. They have been implemented in neuromorphic systems by actual device, logic, and circuit simulations, and sufficient accuracy and extremely high efficiency computing have been confirmed in character and image recognition.
