In this study, an amino-EG6-undecanethiol self-assembled monolayer (SAM) was formed on a gold random nanostructure surface fabricated in PBS aqueous solution, and the secondary structure of lysozyme immobilized on this SAM was analyzed using in situ surface-enhanced infrared absorption spectroscopy (SEIRA). The results revealed differences in the shape of the infrared absorption spectrum in the amide I region compared to the bulk, suggesting changes in the secondary structure.
