photoacoustic imaging

We believe that understanding the structural changes of downy hairs and their surrounding tissues during the hair cycle will lead to a better understanding of skin physiology and pathology. To this end, it is necessary to observe the deep structures of downy hairs. However, no method has yet been established for this purpose. In this study, we have developed a photoacoustic imaging system using a Bessel beam with a long depth of focus to observe downy hairs.
