This study examines the feasibility of optical wireless power transfer by thermoelectric conversion using a thin-film absorber. By applying a thin-film absorber, which absorbs light and generates heat, to one end of the thermoelectric conversion element, the temperature difference between the two ends of the element can be expanded and higher output can be expected. Laser light was irradiated onto the thin-film absorber applied to the thermoelectric conversion element, and the thermoelectric properties of the element were verified to be improved. In addition, the thermistor was successfully driven by the electric power supplied by the optical wireless power supply.
