キラルナノ構造はキラル分子よりも円偏光と強く相互作用するため、その光学特性や作製方法が注目されている。最近では、円偏光を用いた光電気化学的手法によるキラルナノ構造の作製が報告されているが、明瞭なスパイラルナノ構造を同手法で作製した例は少ない。本研究では、鉛(II)イオン存在下で電位を制御した透明電極に円偏光を照射するだけで、酸化鉛のみからなるスパイラル状のナノ構造を簡便に作製できることを見いだした。
