The iGS method consists of connecting two with tapes a joinning strap, which is a short length of tape, but a method for bonding RE123 tapes through an intermediate layer has not been established. In this study, we attempted to fabricate superconducting joints between two RE123 tapes by using a coating-drying method with a low-concentration FF-MOD solution to directly joint the two tapes.
