[16p-K302-6] Novel Feldspar Structure-type Phosphor BaMgSi₃O₈:Eu²⁺

The crystal structure of luminescent phase of blue-emitting phosphor BaMgSi₄O₁₀:Eu²⁺ was lucidated by the single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The actual chemical formula of luminescent phase was determined to be BaMgSi₃O₈. BaMgSi₃O₈ has the similar crystal structure of alkali Feldspars with triclinic space group, such as NaAlSi₃O₈ and KAlSi₃O₈.
