We have developed a deposition method for tin perovskite thin films using vacuum quenching. This fabrication method is applicable to large-area coating and various underlayer substrates independent of the wettability. We fabricated dense tin perovskite thin films even on MeO-2PACz, a hydrophobic charge-transporting material. Solar cell devices exhibited a photoelectric conversion efficiency of 11.6%, which is the highest value for tin perovskite solar cells using monolayer-type hole-transporting materials.
