Conductive structure with an insulating coating that exhibits flexibility is less likely to be damaged and can be applied to flexible devices. In this study, carbonization and polymerization were induced by scanning focused femtosecond laser pulses to liquid polydimethylsiloxane precursor, and carbon structure with a polydimethylsiloxane coating was fabricated. The carbon structure and the coating structure exhibited conductivity and insulativity, respectively.
