[16p-P10-8] Evaluation of Fluorinated Self-assembled Monolayers by F-K Edge NEXAFS Measurements

F K-edge NEXAFS measurements were performed on three types of fluorinated self-assembled monolayers with different main chain lengths. Changes in the F K-edge NEXAFS spectra were observed depending on the main chain length, so peaks were assigned. In addition, the incidence angle dependence of the excitation light was measured, and insights were gained into the bonds between carbon atoms and fluorine atoms. The electronic state of the fluorinated self-assembled monolayers is discussed together with the results of photoelectron spectroscopy and C K-edge NEXAFS spectra.
