To achieve light-induced spatiotemporal control of protein crystallization under photon pressure, local concentration changes and anisotropic molecular orientation under laser irradiation were investigated using in situ Raman and polarized Raman spectroscopy. The results revealed that a localized increase in concentration and enhanced anisotropic orientation near the laser focal point can be induced, irrespective of the molecular species.
