In the field of mineral nutrition of plant sciences, it is important to clarify the function of genes that control the behavior of target elements. To perform the gene expression analysis with high efficiency, it is effective to combine the methods that visualize elemental distribution in plants, such as real-time RI imaging analysis and high-resolution elemental localization analysis utilizing X-ray. In this presentation, the contribution of radiation measurement methods to investigate the metal elements behavior in plants will be introduced.
