Accurate prediction and validation of integrated optical transceiver performance during the design phase require EO co-simulation. However, conventional models have lacked accuracy in RF characteristics, nonlinearity, noise, and process variations, leading to significant discrepancies between measurements and simulations. In this study, we precisely incorporated these physical properties and achieved simulations that accurately reproduce experimental results at symbol rates exceeding 50 Gbaud.
