[10p-E215-12] X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy study of Surfactants Adsorbed on Rutile-TiO₂(110) Surface

We adsorbed surfactant(sodium dodecyl sulfate, SDS) on rutile TiO₂(110) surface in aqueous solution then evaluated before adsorbed surface and after adsorbed surface by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. SDS adsorbed on Ti site while negative charge of SDS transfered from Ti site to O site, so called interatomic charge redistribution, by SDS adsorption on TiO₂ surface, then photoelectron spectra showed that Na⁺ ion induced by SDS adsorbed on O site.
