The luminescence properties of interlayer excitons in TMDC stacked heterostructures strongly depend on sample quality, including interlayer impurities and strain. In this study, we optimized the PDMS cleaning and degassing processes in a transfer method combining gold-assisted exfoliation and vacuum PDMS transfer. AFM observations revealed that wrinkles and bubbles were significantly reduced after optimization, enabling the transfer of flatter and larger-area monolayer MoS2. In this presentation, we discuss the correlation between fabrication conditions and the optical properties of interlayer excitons in MoS2/WSe2 heterostructures.
