A wave propagation simulation was developed to quantitatively evaluate the sensitivity amplification effect of a concave-convex parabolic grating pair in a high-power Talbot-Lau interferometer. First, the validity of the computational model was verified using a conventional laboratory system equipped with a rectangular grating. The simulation was then extended to a model incorporating the parabolic grating pair to investigate the influences of focal length and geometric arrangement on the interferometric behavior. In this presentation, we report the details of the developed simulation methodology. Furthermore, we evaluate the changes in fringe visibility and the refractive sensitivity amplification effect achieved by replacing the conventional rectangular grating with the parabolic grating pair.
