Chalcogenide materials exhibit diverse electronic properties depending on their crystal structures. In this study, we subjected Mo6Te6 nanoribbons to heat treatment in a Te atmosphere to investigate their transformation behavior into MoTe2. Raman spectroscopy results showed that peaks characteristic of 1T' MoTe2 were primarily observed under rapid cooling conditions, while those characteristic of 2H MoTe2 were observed under slow cooling conditions. These findings indicate that cooling conditions significantly influence the dominance of the formed phase during the transition from Mo6Te6 to MoTe2.
