Graphene grown on a metal catalyst by CVD was transferred onto an SiO2/p-Si substrate using a PVA-based method and a laminator, and fabricated into a fine Hall bar (8 μm x 8 μm) for low-temperature transport measurements. Clear minima in the longitudinal resistance (Rxx) and plateausin the Hall resistance (Rxy), corresponding to the quantum Hall effect, were observed. This is attributed to reduced scattering at domain boundaries due to device miniaturization, which leads to an improvement in electron mobility.
