高感度かつ迅速な分析が可能な吸収分光法の一つであるキャビティリングダウン分光法は、放射性同位体核種のような極微量成分の分析への応用が期待されている。また、電気光学位相変調器により生成したサイドバンド光を利用することで、吸収スペクトルを簡便かつ高精度に測定できる。本研究では、この手法を用いてメタンの炭素同位体比分析を行った。
