The temperature and electrical properties of solar cells in honeycomb photovoltaic modules using a phase change material (PCM) were evaluated. The modules were fabricated by encapsulation in an electric furnace. The modules were irradiated with pseudo-sun light at an intensity of 1 kW/m² for 30 min. by using a solar simulator and then the cell temperature and electrical characteristics were measured. In the case of the honeycomb module with PCM mixed with alumina powder, the maximum output power Pmax was improved by an average of 6.7% and a maximum of 7.8% compared with the case of the honeycomb module without PCM. The results of the thermal analysis of the honeycomb module will be presented on the day of the conference.
