Fast proton transport observed in perovskite-type rare-earth nickel oxides plays a crucial role in the development of novel iontronic materials. In this study, we evaluated the high mobility of proton transport by combining hydrogen conduction pathway simulations with electrochemical impedance spectroscopy measurements on EuNiO3 thin films grown on optimized substrates.
